 Consider getting your Hocking College education at the Perry Campus located in New Lexington, Ohio. At the Perry Campus, you'll have the opportunity to complete select coursework in any of the technologies offered at Hocking College's Nelsonville Campus. Additionally, here you can participate in University Bound, the transfer program that guarantees your acceptance into any state-funded college or university in Ohio.
The Perry Campus offers particularly strong programs in the following areas: Accounting, Business Management, Human and Correctional Services, Juvenile Corrections, Nursing Level I, Industrial Technology, and Opticianry Technology. You'll find that the instruction is flexible and can often be tailored to fit your lifestyle. While most coursework is available in a traditional format, other courses can be "time-shifted," or completed at your convenience. Online course work is available via the internet, and some instruction is delivered from a distance via an interactive video link. There are many classes that you can start at any time during the term.
While most students at the Hocking College Perry Campus attend part-time, nearly 30% are full-time students who commute from Hocking, Perry, Fairfield, Muskingum and Morgan counties. The majority of the students at the Perry Campus are non-traditional (outside the 18-23 age bracket) with an average age closer to thirty.
You'll enjoy the well-equipped, $2.9 million Perry Campus, which is housed in a 20,000 square foot building dedicated in January 1997. It's situated on 33 acres located along State Route 37, just west of the city of New Lexington.
The Perry Campus has an active advisory board made up of business leaders, professionals and interested citizens from all over Perry County.
