Massage Therapy is a part time, evening program that runs six consecutive quarters, including summer. You'll be in class two nights per week during most quarters, except for the final quarter which meets three nights per week. Students entering the program are required to receive a preliminarily education form prior to registering for courses. For more information please call Tanya Howe at 740.753.3591 ext.6350. Think about combining this certificate with some business and general courses and earn an Associate of Technical Studies degree!

If you have some massage training or college credit already, ask about credit through advanced placement, portfolio development, examination, or transfer.

Learn by Doing
Log over 200 hours of hands-on clinical experience in our massage therapy lab. Experience the challenge of providing therapeutic treatment-based massages for individuals with specific musculoskeletal disorders. Demonstrate sensitivity to the needs of a diverse group of clients. You'll get the training you need to be successful with real hands- on experiences.

Generally, massage therapists earn 15 to 20 percent of their income as gratuities.
