The Program
The radiologic technology program is fully accredited through the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (www.jrcert.org), 20 North Wacker Drive, Chicago, IL, 60606. Through collaboration between Sinclair Community College and Hocking College, the program prepares learners entry to the profession following successful completion of the national radiography certification exam through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (www.arrt.org).

Radiologic Technology is a demanding full-time program that runs eight quarters. Courses are offered during the day, Monday through Friday; however, an evening clinical rotation is required. The curriculum includes two-way interactive classroom learning, laboratory and clinical experiences. You'll spend two or three days per week in an interactive classroom at Hocking College being taught via two-way video by the instructors at Sinclair Community College and two or three days a week in clinical education at local health care facilities. A selective admission process is used to admit interested and qualified students to the program during fall quarter of each year.
