Get your hands on the tools of the trade! Work with tools and equipment ranging from a hand-held compass to a chainsaw. Let our 1600 acres serve as your classroom. Take trips to many forest industries and attend professional conferences.

Gain on the job training through required practicum experiences and expanded co-ops and/or internships. Students have been placed with the Ohio Division of Natural Resources- Division of Forestry, the U.S. Department of Agriculture Division of Forestry, Mead Company, AEP, etc.

Out of the Box - With more job postings than graduates, qualified grads find full-time positions with federal, state, and local forestry agencies and in private industries like utility companies, timber production companies, and/or pulp, paper, and wood product manufacturers. Grads work as:
