The Program
This unique program is one of the School of Natural Resource’s newest programs. Husqvarna, a global leader of outdoor products, has partnered
with the college to launch this two-year degree program. Major landscape, tree care and lawn care companies across
the country have an increasing need for qualified crew chiefs to join their staff. Hocking College’s program

Learn By Doing
All of the degree programs in the School of Natural Resources embrace
the hands-on philosophy of teaching, Landscape Management is no

the field involving various classes including tree climbing,
equipment classes, landscape projects, dendrology, field botany
and many others. The 2300 acres of the Hocking College campus
will serve as an optimal lab setting for these classes.
