Just the Facts...
- The new Public Safety Services building houses state-of-the-art labs such as a communication center, criminalistics lab where students learn to process evidence, and the most up-to-date paramedic lab in the State. A burn building and four story burn tower serve as training facilities for Fire and Emergency Services students.
- Police Science students have an opportunity to participate in a student exchange program with Scotland Yard, London, England.
- The Police Science Technology is a recipient of the Ohio Board of Regents Program Excellence Award.
Connections Abroad.
Scotland Yard and more. The School of Public Safety has connections in London with Scotland Yard! Annually, students travel to London, England where they participate in sessions with local police departments and spend a day shadowing and observing the operations at Scotland Yard! In their spare time they tour Westminster Abbey, Windsor Castle, the Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and more, then squeeze in a side trip to Paris! |
