Hocking College offers a large variety of certificates to meet your educational and occupational needs. There is something for everyone!
Hocking College has five types of certificates:
Certificate of Completion
Less than 12 credit hours- leads to the acquisition of specific knowledge and skills
Certificate of Concentration
Set of courses which complements the associate degree and enables you to acquire skills in
a specific area.
Occupational Certificate
Twelve (12) or more credit hours to develop skills for a specific job.
Technical Certificate
Set sequence of courses with a technology ranging from 27 – 33 credit hours. The total credit hours are at least 50% of the number required for the associate degree in that technology.
Technologist Certificate
Higher-level courses (completed after earning the Associate Degree). May serve as a
bridge to a baccalaureate degree program.
