Hocking College is dedicated to producing educated, well-rounded citizens who contribute to the world in many ways. Through courses, clubs and organizations that contain service-learning components, you will have opportunities to experience the reward that comes only from helping others. You may also choose to volunteer individually, apart from classes or clubs. It is our hope that you will continue to be engaged in your community the rest of your life. The COC assists in choosing service projects that best fit your interests and schedule. Before visiting the COC, take a look at the Service Site list to review the local needs and determine the programs that appeal to you. Hocking College Youth Tutoring ProgramTutor children in local elementary schools as a volunteer or as a federal work-study position.
