The Learning Lab is a place where faculty and students study together, a place for finding encouragement and solutions. Services offered by The Learning Lab include:

• Personal help from faculty who volunteer their time to help students.
• Free printing of text documents. To preserve that privilege, we are unable to print PowerPoints, photos or graphics of any kind. See your Learning Lab volunteer for instruction on how to put your PowerPoint presentations into outline form.
• Scan documents and pictures to convert them to electronic media.
• Coaching on any kind of writing project, from resumes and memos to essays and research assignments.
• Computers available for almost any learning application, including a Mac.
• Help with FOCUS activities, Moodle and scheduling concerns.
• DVD and VHS players, not only for checking out videos on study skills, time management, grammar study, essay writing and other selections, but also for viewing videos you may have missed in a traditional class. Make arrangement with your teacher to watch that presentation here.
• Broad selection of textbooks on closed reserve, including the complete library of Psychology/Sociology texts. Check out materials for Reading and Writing About Nature, Hums 203 (ethics), statistics, calculus, pre-algebra, macroeconomics, art and others.
• Quiet, casual study area reserved for students.
