The staff at Hocking College realizes that school is just one more responsibility for our adult students to juggle, along with other priorities such as family and work. We offer a variety of programs and evening classes, along with online courses to fit your schedule. You may also be able to get college credit for life experience. Check with your department for specifics.

If you are an adult who has never attended college, you need only to complete entry course assessment and meet with an advisor before you register for classes. As an adult student, you can apply using the standard online application. Some programs have additional enrollment requirements. You will be notified by mail of these requirements.

Transferring Credit

If you have attended another college or university, and would like to transfer credit to Hocking College, please have official transcripts mailed to the Hocking College transfer coordinator for evaluation. An official transcript must be mailed directly from the college or university. All other forms of transcripts are considered unofficial.

Please send in transcripts from high school and any other colleges you may have attended.

Seniors

As a community service, Hocking College offers senior citizens 60 years old or older the opportunity to enroll in credit courses for self-enrichment tuition-free, on a space-available basis for audit “R” only. Contact the Admissions office for additional information.
