Online Military Application
  1. To apply to Hocking College, submit the following items via scanned email:
    • Completed Hocking College Online Military Education Application
    • Copy of updated DA 2-1, ERB, etc. (i.e. Servicemember Personnel Record)
    • Copy of all AARTS and/or SMARTS, CCAF, AIPD (ACCP), ATRRS transcripts (i.e. ANY military training documents)
      If Army, for full Army Knowledge Online (AKO) access instructions, please see"AKO Access" Form.
    • College/University transcripts (email scanned unofficial copies immediately, request officials to be sent by school)
    • Additional certifications and/or documented military or civilian trainings
  2. Scan/email all documents to maysc@hocking.edu or hockingmilitaryed@hocking.edu, Attention: Chris Mays, Military Education Enrollment Manager
  3. NOTE: Because this is an online program, all paperwork and correspondence is required to be submitted online via email, rather than traditional fax or regular mail services. When possible, submit documents in PDF format, but TIF and XPS formats are also acceptable. To make other arrangements, please contact us.

  4. If you have previous college/university coursework, scan and email unofficial transcripts immediately, and then proceed with requesting official transcript(s) and have them mailed to:

  6. Once all documentation has been received, the Military Education Enrollment Manager, Chris Mays, will submit your file to the Director of Military Education, CSM Michael Belcher, for degree plan creation. Once created, it will be sent to you by email for review with full instructions on how to proceed to the next step.
