Adult Students

We realize that school is just one more responsibility for our adult students to juggle, along with other priorities such as family and work. We offer a variety of programs and evening classes, along with online courses to fit your schedule. You may also be able to get college credit for life experience. Check with your department for specifics.

Housing

Interested in living on campus? We are the only two-year college in Ohio to offer college-owned residence halls located on campus. They are within walking distance of the dining facility, where students may purchase a meal plan or buy individual meals/snacks.

Four-Year Degree at a Two-Year Price

At a fraction of the cost of attending a traditional four-year university, Hocking College is a great option for your first two years of a bachelor's degree. Plus, we have partnered with universities throughout the U.S. designed to help students make a smooth transition when transferring.

Financial Aid

Financial aid is processed based on FAFSA awards, and attendance impacts the aid you receive. Half-time students must be registered for six credit hours, while full-time students must be registered for 12 credit hours.

Campuses

Main Campus

Founded in 1968, Hocking College now serves more than 4,000 students per semester. Set in the scenic town of Nelsonville, Ohio the 2,300-acre institution is rich in history, nature, art and culture.

Logan Campus

Consider attending the Hocking College Logan Campus to earn your degree or certificate. The campus is located approximately 46 miles southeast of Columbus and is accessible by several state highways, including State Route 33.

Perry Campus

Hocking College Perry Campus, situated just west of the city of New Lexington, is located in a lovely rural setting. The campus is located approximately 55 miles southeast of Columbus and is accessible by several state highways.
