Advising Begins

Opportunity begins to meet with your advisor to plan the coming quarter. Review your Grad Analysis and receive a block schedule (recommended list of classes).

April 30, 2007

Priority Registration Begins

First opportunity for returning students ONLY to register for classes. Take advantage of the opportunity to get the classes you want when you want them!

The date and time of your first opportunity to register will be listed on your student Personal Profile Page.

May 8, 2007

Open Registration Begins

All students may register for classes.

July 1, 2007

On Campus Housing Fees Due

September 18, 2007

AES Payment Plan Due Dates (3 Pay Plan)

Until September 24, 2007

Withdrawal/Dropped Course Refund = 100%

Full refund until the first day of classes.

September 25, 2007

All classes begin.

Reminder- you may have courses that begin before this date. Check your schedule carefully!

Withdrawal/Dropped Course Refund = 90% Begins

Withdrawals/Courses dropped today 15th day = 90% refund

Refunds for modular, weekend, and flex courses will use the same %, adjusted proportionately.

After defined dates = $0 refund.

October 9, 2007

15th Day of the Quarter

  • Last day to add or drop a class without special permission from your academic department.
  • Last day to alter your schedule for Financial Aid purposes
  • Last day for withdrawals/Courses dropped = 90% refund
  • Withdrawals/Courses dropped after today = 0% refund

October 18, 2007

First Overage Refund Check

If the amount of aid posted to your account exceeds the charges on your account, you will receive and Overage Refund Check. These checks are available every Thursday at the Cashiers & records Office after the college post financial aid to your account.

Graduation Application deadline for Winter Quarter 2008

Students are requred to apply for graduation a quarter ahead to ensure that the requirements are met. It is very important to meet with your Advisor.

First time loan barrower's checks are available at Records & Cashiers Office

November 9, 2007

Last Day to Withdraw/Drop Courses (No refund)

  • Last day to withdraw/drop a traditional course to receive a W (withdraw, i.e. you are leaving Hocking College) or DP (drop, i.e. you are dropping this class & keeping others) on your transcript.
