FUNCTION:  

% of TIME JOB DUTIES SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
40% Telecounseling role: Present a professional, positive, but honest view of Hocking College in every telephone interaction. Understand the purpose and Call To Action (CTA) of each phone call. Document call progress electronically by completing all progress logs.
  • Telephone skills
  • Public relations skills
  • Overall knowledge of college operations.
  • Typing skills
  • Data Entry
25% Tour Guide role: Know all components to general campus tours, campus managed housing, and school specific. Be able to assess the needs/desires of tour group.
20% Enrollment Event role: Co-host special events with admissions Counselors such as Discover Hocking, Hands on Hocking, New Student Registration Day, High School visits, District Scholar information night, etc.
5% Staff Member role: Have a clear understanding of Enrollment services mission and CCP role within, attend weekly staff meeting, and all required training programs.
5% Supervisor role: Help to supervise admissions student staff and tasks assigned, help with coverage at Welcome Center.
5% Positive-Specific role: Help coordinate with Admissions Counselors for specific roles such as: Training and Development, Telecounseling, Events coordinator, etc
