FUNCTION: Under the direct supervision of the director of the Chemistry lab

% of TIME JOB DUTIES Skills & Knowledge
30% Set up apparatus and equipment for the chemistry and physics lab.
  • Be able to follow written or oral directions to put equipment together
  • Be able to read a balance scale, use a volumetric flask
  • Organize materials and apparatus
20%
Weigh out chemicals and mix solutions for chemistry experiments.
20%
Put apparatus and equipment away after the lab instructor is finished with it.
20%
Wash glassware and apparatus for the chemistry labs.
10%
Keep the chemistry lab clean.
