There are two types of housing available at Hocking College:
On Campus/Campus Managed Housing
There are three residence halls available: Hocking Heights, Summit on the River, and Sycamore Hall. Hocking Heights is located on campus, while Summit and Sycamore are located about one mile from campus. Please see inside for a description of each hall and its features. When you decide that you want to live on campus, you need to fill out the application (enclosed) and mail to:

Off Campus Housing
This site offers a comprehensive listing of properties owned by landlords in the area, as well as contact information for each landlord. Students seeking off campus housing must contact the landlords individually to arrange for housing. The college is not responsible for any agreement between the landlord and the student.
General Information
Contacting the Housing Office:
The Housing Office is open Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm and can be reached by phone at 740-753-6175. You can also e-mail phillips_l@hocking.edufor assistance.
Application Process:
- Request an application or go to the Housing portion of the Hocking College website.
- Return form with application fee and $100 deposit. Room deposit is only needed for Fall and Winter applicants.
- Spring and Summer applicants need only send the application fee. If applying online, use a credit card to pay the application fee and deposit.
- Student will receive a confirmation indicating that the application has been received. If you do not receive a confirmation letter within two weeks of applying, please contact the Housing Office to ensure that your application has been received.
- Payment is due in full by the payment deadline.
- Student will receive room assignment and roommate information as soon as assignments are made.
Reminders:
- Rates are subject to change without prior notice;
- You must be accepted to the college before your housing application can be processed;
- Accommodations are available to registered, full time students;
- This contract is binding for the entire academic year. Summer housing is on a separate contract and you must apply separately for housing during the summer quarters;
- Any change in your housing status must be communicated to the Housing Office in writing prior to the payment deadline;
- The $100 deposit is only refundable if cancellation is received in writing prior to the payment deadline or if the student fulfills the terms of the contract. The $100 will be deducted from your spring quarter housing bill.
