Greenforce USA located in Nelsonville, Ohio is the North American partner organization of Greenforce based in London, England. Greenforce offers
hands-on volunteer and ecotourism study abroad opportunities throughout
most of the Earth’s major continents. The expeditions run from our
two week explorer package to the 10 week full quarter immersion complete with 15-18 transferable college or university credits. Our current expedition
sites are located in the Bahamas, Borneo, Brazil, Ecuador, Fiji, India, and Tanzania.
The major goal of Greenforce is to work with host governments providing them with scientific data and studies that are conducted through our on site scientists with the help of volunteers like you. Greenforce assists these governments with the process of setting up marine and terrestrial parks to preserve and protect endangered wildlife and underwater reef ecosystems for future generations.
