Courses for BOTH college AND high school credit
Receive dual credit (BOTH college AND high school credit) for the courses you take.
To qualify for the PSEO-B program, you must meet the following criteria:
- Passed all sections of the Freshman Proficiency Exam
- Earned a minimum of 3.0 high school GPA in the topics in which you wish to enroll
- Complete Entry Course Placement and demonstrate ability to begin relevant college coursework
- Complete all verification/authorization forms with your home high school
The cost of tuition, book loans, and course fees will be provided.
Many high schools use May 1st as the deadline for application for the PSEO-B program. Check with your home high school for more information.

Step 2 - Entry Course Placement
PSEO-B students must complete an assessment of your math and English skills and earn certain scores prior to enrolling. A timed, paper/pencil version (ASSET) and an untimed, computer version (COMPASS) are both available.
We recommend that you spend some time reviewing your skills using our Online Entry Course Placement PDF Review Sheet prior to assessing. The Testing Center is open daily from 10:00am - 2:00pm Monday - Friday, excluding breaks.
IMPORTANT: You must bring a photo ID in order to complete the assessment.
