Scholarships
As a Hocking College student you may be eligible for a variety of scholarships offered through the Office of Financial Aid. Each scholarship has unique criteria and awards a different monetary amount to qualified candidates. Review all of the below scholarships to find out which best fits your needs.
Annabelle Mathis Scholarship
Scholarship recipients are awarded $300.00 each to be used for the purchase of required and recommended educational textbooks.
Ariana R. Ulloa Scholarship
Scholarship for international students or students enrolled in international studies with demonstrated financial need and exceptional academic achievement.
David S. Fraedrich Memorial Scholarship
Scholarship in memory of David S. Freadrich.
District Scholars Tuition Assistance Program
Tuition assistance for recent high school graduates from Athens, Fairfield, Hocking, Perry, Pickaway, or Ross county high schools.
Husqvarna Scholarship
The Husqvarna Scholarship provides tuition assistance to a limited number of students enrolling in the Landscape Management Program.
JOMC and Foundation Scholarships
Scholarship opportunities for talented, ambitious students who are likely to have successful careers as a result of technical education. These awards are not based upon financial need.
Martha & Earl Elberfeld Scholarship
For Selected students from Logan/Hocking high school majoring in Forest Management of Business Entreprenuership. This scholarship recognized the Elberfeld's sprit and dedication to education and Hocking College.
Southeast Tech Prep Consortium Scholarship
Full-tuition scholarships for current year high school graduates who participated in a program within the Southeast Ohio Tech Prep Consortium.
Technical Excellence and Leadership Scholarship
Provides both tuition assistance and a specialized leadership program.
West Virginia Partners in Technology Scholarship
Provides up to a thousand dollars of out-of-state tuition surcharge per quarter for students who
are admitted to selected programs.
