Who is eligible for the Technical Excellence and Leadership Scholarship?

A student enrolling in Hocking College’s selected technology programs. Eligible programs include:

• School of Arts and Sciences
  Music Production, Performance and Business Management
  Technical Theater
  Theater Arts and Management
  Theater Performance
  

• School of Industrial Technology
  Automotive Hybrids
  Alternative Energy and Fuel Cells
  Compressed Air and Gas Systems
  Drafting and Design
  Industrial Ceramics
  
  
• School of Natural Resources
  Geographic Information and Global Positioning (GIS/GPS)

How do I apply?

The scholarship is not automatic! The application deadline to apply is APRIL 1… number of awards are based upon available funds.

There are 3 easy steps:

Step 1 - Apply to Hocking College in one of the eligible programs.

Step 2 - Complete and submit the Technical Excellence and Leadership Scholarship Application and Contract by the April 1st deadline. Click on the link to download and print the application/contract form.

Submit the form to:

Step 3 - Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (or FAFSA).
You must apply for the Pell Grant and the Ohio Instruction Grant.
