Student Health Insurance

Hocking College offers an affordable Accident and Sickness Insurance Plan, administered by Student Assurance Services Inc., underwritten by Columbia Life Insurance, to all students attending Hocking College. Students must be physically and actively attending classes on campus to enroll in this insurance plan.

Participation in this insurance plan is voluntary; however, we encourage you to review your personal situation to determine if you need coverage. The coverage is designed to provide benefits for medical expenses arising from an accident or illness including those that occur off campus and during interim vacations. We strongly encourage all students to have health insurance. Health insurance can provide peace of mind for those unexpected and often expensive visits to health care facilities for unforeseen injuries. Injuries occurring at home, at the college or in the field, are the responsibility of the student. Students who enroll in the insurance plan may also secure family coverage. See enrollment form for dependents rates.
