Welcome to On Campus Living at Hocking College!

Due to our varying populations living on campus, we have several assigned dates and times for checking into the residence halls. Move-in hours on those assigned days will be from 9am to 6pm.

For students taking Smart Start: Move-in for the Autumn term will take place on Saturday, August 18 and Sunday, August 19, 2012. Smart Start begins on Sunday, August 19, in the evening. In order to help with the traffic, especially on main campus, the day you move in will be determined by the floor your room is on.

Students not signed up for Smart Start, but ARE signed up for Focus on Success will be permitted to move in on Thursday, August 23, 2012.

Students not signed up for Smart Start OR Focus on Success can move in on Saturday & Sunday, August 25 and 26, 2012.

In order to increase your chances of being matched successfully with a roommate, we use a detailed questionnaire available online that you need to complete. This survey can be found on the Hocking College website by clicking on "Getting Started", "Housing", and then the "Roommate Selection" links. Click on the link that says "On Campus Housing Questionnaire" to access the survey.

It is very important that you set aside approximately 20-30 minutes to complete this survey in order to tell us about yourself accurately. We may also share some of this information with your Resident Success Mentor, a student staff member, to help them plan for the term. Please complete these surveys by June 8, 2012 so the information can be utilized for roommate matching.

Room Assignments should be mailed by July 6, 2012!
