In accordance with State of Ohio, Issue 5 (passed November 2006), Hocking College is tobacco‐free. The use of any tobacco products, including cigarettes, cigars, pipe tobacco, smokeless tobacco/snuff, and chewing tobacco, is banned from Hocking College owned and/or managed properties, except in private vehicles.

Faculty, staff, and students violating this policy are subject to College disciplinary action.

Violators may also be subject to prosecution for violation of Ohio’s Smoking Ban (Ohio Revised Code, Chapter 3794).

Visitors who violate this policy may be denied access to Hocking College campuses and may ultimately be subject to arrest for criminal trespass.
