Fire Students Attend International Conference

On Friday, April 24, 2013, a group of public safety faculty, staff and students visited Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana to participate in the world's largest firefighter training conference, the Federal Department Instructors Conference (FDIC).

This is the fourth year that the School of Public Safety Services has attended this conference.  The trip is coordinated by faculty member Larry Hatem, and Hocking Students students participated in multiple educational exercises and demonstrations. Faculty and staff who served as trip advisors included Scott Mong, Betty Dalton, Curtis Martin, Crystal Howard, Tammy Monk and Greg Keefe.
