Associate of Applied Business in E-Business and Web Design

Information Technology (IT) is one of the fastest growing job sectors in today’s knowledge economy, making e-Business and web design top marketable skills. The E-Business degree program prepares you to be a flexible IT professional by integrating e-business with web design study. The program begins with Certified Internet Webmaster courses and teaches you web design to build professional e-business sites for businesses. Employers not only expect web designers to design e-business sites, but also expect them to know how to connect them to product databases, how to market the sites, the legal environment surrounding e-business, and how to secure their customers’ information over the internet. The E-Business program teaches all of these skills and more. You will learn the laws that govern the internet, proven e-marketing techniques, web market research techniques, e-business processes, backend design issues such as shipping, connecting to databases, setting up credit card transactions, security and Internetworking.

Certified Internet Webmaster is the largest internet job-role certification. It is increasingly recognized and accepted as the standard vendor-neutral certification by corporations, academic organizations, commercial training centers and industry publications.
