Program OutcomesThe following outcomes are skills, behaviors, and attitudes cultivated in students seeking the Associate of Technical Study in Spa Management:
CurriculumNo Curriculum Available For Spa Management Career OpportunitiesYour associate degree in Spa Management offers you a wide variety of employment opportunities including front desk management, spa coordinator, product and service account specialist, and eventually leading to positions such as spa marketing coordinator, director of spa sales, spa support supervisor, spa director or spa consultant.
The Spa Management degree DOES NOT lead to a license to professionally practice spa treatments. Students interested in becoming spa technicians must complete additional training in the areas of esthetics. Hocking College and Tri County Adult Career Center have partnered to offer esthetician courses which prepare individuals for the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology Esthetician licensing exam. This 600 hour (24 credit hours) Ohio State Board of Cosmetology program may be added onto the Spa Management degree program for students interested in providing skin care/spa treatments to clients. |
