40% THE OPERATION OF THE OFFICE: Assist the secretary in the following duties: maintain proper phone coverage and distribution of phone messages to all department personnel; file all department forms, correspondence and interdepartmental memos; prepare and maintain accurate files; act as liaison with other departments; aid in the maintenance of equipment and supply inventory; assist in the maintenance of a complete file of course outlines.

40% Route correspondence; compile data; compose and type all forms of correspondence; prepare various reports; perform bookkeeping and accounting tasks; assist with administrative duties; meet visitors; arrange meetings; design, layout, prepare, paste up and mail brochures and other advertisements; organize and coordinate advisory committee meetings; schedule department meetings;
10% Maintain adequate inventory of all forms, materials, and supplies; coordinate and order textbooks, packets and class supplies; arrange preventative maintenance.
10% Performs other duties as assigned.
