Aerobics/Personal Training: Try spinning, yoga, karate or get a personal
trainer for the term.
Anime Club: This club is for fans of the Japanese animated cartoon style
"anime." Club members watch anime movies, draw and participate in discussions.
Campus Crusade for Christ: This organization is an extension of Ohio
University's Campus Crusade for Christ in which members participate
in bible study, prayer and community outreach activities.
Campus Ministry: A nondenominational Bible study group.
Campus Radio: Become a DJ and host your own show.
Climbing Club: The Climbing Club is based at the Climbing Wall in the
Student Center and meets weekly. This club promotes various climbing
skills including ice-climbing, rappelling, bouldering and lead climbing.
Club members enjoy trips and climbing competitions.
Dance Club: The Dance Club meets weekly in the Hocking College dance
studio, located in the Student Center, and invites students to learn
various forms of dance including Swing, Latin and Ballroom. Students
learn dance moves from around the world, instruct each other and have
opportunities to compete.
Dungeons and Dragons Club: Students in D+D Club escape into a magical
world of wizards, dragons and other mythical creatures for long games
where the imagination joins strategy to explore uncharted worlds.
Hotel and Restaurant Club: Students in this club enjoy learning more
of the Hotel and Restaurant profession, exchange job tips, recipes and
have the opportunity to broaden their resumes in the field.
OUTlook (LGBT): The Inclusion Club/Rainbow Alliance
is for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender students and friends to meet
and socialize. This club participates in various social events including
dances, shows and trips.
Interp Club: The Interp Club is for students who are interested in Natural
and Historical Interpretation.
Kappa Beta Delta (Business Honor Society): This club is for students
studying and interested in business. Some great scholarship, leadership
and resume building opportunities can be found here!
Paintball Club: Students in Paintball Club play against each other and
teams from all over in paintball competitions. Students in the club
exchange equipment, examine paintball strategy and also play a large
role in the Hocking College Freshman Orientation Program, Smart Start.
Trading Cards Group: The Trading Cards group meets a couple of times
a week and trades all kinds of different collectable cards.
Wildlife Club: The Wildlife Club is dedicated to the education and
conservation of wildlife. Students learn more about animals, their
habitat, how to manage animals and how to protect them.
Yoga Club: Students in Yoga Club learn the art of yoga, how to relax,
control breathing and manipulate the body.
