Dual enrollment is a program allowing high school juniors and seniors to earn college and high school credit through classes at their high school. Students can jump-start their college plans, potentially reducing the time and money spent on college. Dual enrollment has numerous benefits:

• Students earn high school and college credit simultaneously
• Dual enrollment credits are transferable to any two- or four-year college in the State of Ohio
• Fees are hundreds of dollars less than college tuition for comparable credits
• Students earn college credits without leaving their high school campus

Transfer Options

To save money, many students choose to attend Hocking College to fulfill basic course requirements before transferring to a university of their choice. The Ohio Transfer Module is a set of courses that satisfies general education requirements for all public colleges and universities in Ohio.

For students wishing to earn a degree before transferring, the Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees are specifically designed to allow for the transfer and application of all Hocking College credits to bachelor's degree requirements at any four-year college or university in Ohio.
