Apply for admission, request financial aid and register in one visit!

At QuickStart you can:

  • Apply for admission
  • Complete applications for financial aid (and, if required, secure assistance in filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA)
  • Take the placement test (used to help incoming students and their advisors make appropriate course selections)
  • Register for classes
  • Evaluate transfer credit

Be sure to:

  • Bring copies of your 2012 W2 and federal income tax forms if you wish to complete your financial aid applications; prospective students under age 23 should bring parental tax information as well.
  • Make arrangements for child care, if necessary, since children are not permitted in the lab where the placement testing program is administered.
  • Bring some form of photo identification, such as a driver's license, state ID card or school ID.
  • If you are under age 18, you will need to have a parent and/or legal guardian with you to register for classes.
  • If you will be applying for admission at the QuickStart, bring $15 for the admission application fee.
  • Be prepared to establish your method of payment for tuition and fees at the time of registration.

Campuses

Main Campus

Founded in 1968, Hocking College now serves more than 6,000 students and experiences steady growth each year. Set in the scenic town of Nelsonville, Ohio the 2,300-acre institution is rich in history, nature, art and culture.

Logan Campus

Consider attending the Hocking College Logan Campus to earn your degree or certificate. The campus is located approximately 46 miles southeast of Columbus and is accessible by several state highways, including State Route 33.

Perry Campus

Hocking College Perry Campus, situated just west of the city of New Lexington, is located in a lovely rural setting. The campus is located approximately 55 miles southeast of Columbus and is accessible by several state highways.
