Tower Technician Program Description
The Tower Technician 1 (TT1) Certification Program is designed to provide the student with the theory and hands-on educational experience necessary to receive a job as an entry-level technician in the telecommunication field. Topics include safety, basic rigging and fall protection, principles of electricity, fiber optics, wireless technology, cell components, antenna basics, and spectrum management.
Students completing this certificate program will be able to complete the National Wireless Safety Alliance ANSI-accredited trade certification for a TTT 1.

- First Aid/CPR
- Bloodborne Pathogen
- OSHA 10-HR
- FR/EME RF Awareness
- NCCO Tower Basic Rigging
Tower Technician 1 Certification courses are currently being scheduled for Spring 2024 at Hocking College.
