Of the surveyed graduates, 157 reported accepting job offers while 230 were still seeking employment, suggesting active engagement with the job market. The high level of job-seeking activity demonstrates student ambition and a readiness to transition from college to career. Hocking College can celebrate the persistence of its graduates and use these insights to refine support services like mock interviews and job placement.
The majority of graduates (121) reported that their employment was “very related” to their degree, while others cited moderate or limited relevance. This alignment suggests many of Hocking College’s programs are equipping students with applicable, job-ready skills. Strengthening program advisory boards and alumni networks could further improve curriculum relevance and adaptability.
Roughly one-third of respondents (118) indicated plans to continue their education, reflecting both academic preparedness and aspirations beyond the associate level. This trend is especially prominent among graduates from Arts, Sciences, and Allied Health programs, who often pursue transfer to four-year institutions. Hocking College’s supportive role as a launchpad for academic advancement is clear.
